Selection Weekend

Information and Forms > For Students > Exchange Students > Orientation and camps
The process of sending a young person abroad as an exchange student begins long before the student departs and continues through the student’s return home.

Prospective students, are invited for a "Selection Weekend" to select suitable candidates in the month of May

After students have been selected and their participation confirmed by the district, notify students and their parents in writing. Outline any contingencies (for example, participation in orientation meetings, payment of fees) before final acceptance, and include a schedule and a date when the host country will be confirmed.
ROTARY DISTRICT 9600 YOUTH EXCHANGE
Rotary Youth Exchange provides an opportunity of a lifetime for young Australians currently studying Year 9 to 12 to study abroad for the following year.
They’ll spend up to 12 months living and studying in a foreign country, learning a lot about themselves and the culture of their adopted host families.
It’s an amazing, life-changing experience you can give your kids that they will never regret.
