Want to be an Exchange Student
How are students prepared for the exchange?

The District Committee arranges 3 compulsory orientation sessions (2 weekends and a one week "Safari" around our District region).
Elements of these orientation sessions include personal development, public speaking, communication skills, cultural awareness and financial management. This is to prepare the student as much as is possible for the exchange year. Parents are required to be involved in this training and therefore gain an appreciation of the many issues, which will confront the student during the year.

ROTARY DISTRICT 9600 YOUTH EXCHANGE
Rotary Youth Exchange provides an opportunity of a lifetime for young Australians currently studying Year 9 to 12 to study abroad for the following year.
They’ll spend up to 12 months living and studying in a foreign country, learning a lot about themselves and the culture of their adopted host families.
It’s an amazing, life-changing experience you can give your kids that they will never regret.
