Covers the following out of pocket costs:

Return Air fare to/from final destination
Chubb Compulsory Travel & Accident Insurance (to most host detinations, some countries requires students to aquire host country's insurance)
Student Visa Costs

All administration costs
Registration Costs for the Outbound Nominee Student and 1 Parent/Guardian for ALL District Selection and Briefing Meetings, including re-orientation day in February.
Student Badge
Student Business Cards
Rotary Youth Exchange Blazer, Hoodie and Polo shirt
Gifts and souvenirs

Other Extras

Some countries may require students to attend language Camp paid directly to the host country

Note

Japan and Austria may require students to purchase their Insurance

The Australian insurance component of the global fees will be refunded

Optional Costs

These costs will vary from family to family and the country of exchange.

Estimated $6,500

It should be noted that many of these costs would occur during the year even if the Student were not involved in a Rotary 12 month Youth Exchange.

Therefore, they should be viewed in that context, rather than as additional costs. Such as compulsory school uniforms, Clothing and tours
